Participate
We are currently collecting data. To participate you need to be a qualified Australian or New Zealand teacher. The easiest way to participate is through answering questions on a survey, though there are also limited opportunities to participate by volunteering for your teaching to be observed.
Survey
Any Australian or New Zealand Primary level teachers are welcome to complete the survey. Any Australian or New Zealand Secondary teachers of English or Mathematics are welcome to complete the survey. We would love to hear from other teachers, but unfortunately teacher knowledge in other subjects is outside of the scope of this project.
You will need to read the information sheet below, and provide informed consent. Entering into the online survey and clicking on 'agree' implies your consent. You will need to copy and paste the appropriate link from the four listed on the information sheet, or choose from the buttons below.

Classroom Observations
We have opportunities for Tasmanian teachers in Catholic or Independent schools to participate in the classroom observations. This will involve a researcher viewing and video recording one lesson. Your school Principal, class students, and their parents/guardians will need to consent to research process as well. Click the links below to read the teacher information and consent sheets. If you are interested, please email: [email protected] and we will provide the information and consent forms for Principals and parents.
